Only four ingredients into a slow cooker and you have a delicious chicken dinner. This recipe for Super Easy Italian Chicken can be used in a variety of ways; over pasta, in a salad or even in a wrap. Add this healthy dish as an addition to your dinner repertoire for rave reviews!

 

Super Easy Italian Chicken

 

Serves: 8

 

Ingredients:

2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breast

1-28 oz. can no salt added Italian stewed tomatoes

1 teaspoon dried oregano or Italian seasoning

1 medium onion, diced

 

Directions:

Combine stewed tomatoes, seasoning and onions in slow cooker, stir well. Place chicken into slow cooker and spoon tomato mixture over the chicken. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, until meat thermometer reads 160 degrees.

 

Note: Can be eaten as whole or shredded and used in pasta dishes, wraps, salads, etc.
