Walk With Ease in 2022

Do you suffer from Arthritis or joint pain? If so, you are not alone. In Kansas, 1 in 4 adults have arthritis and report having severe joint pain that may limit activities. Learning to manage and reduce symptoms is critical to maintaining an active life.

What Is Walk With Ease?

Walk With Ease workshops, designed by the Arthritis Foundation, are evidence based programs proven to reduce the pain of arthritis and improve your overall health. During this 6-week workshop, participants learn to exercise safely with an Arthritis Foundation trained group exercise leader. Each session begins with a pre-walk education related to exercise and arthritis, followed by a 10–40-minute walk that includes a warm up, cool down and stretching. This workshop is designed for all levels and every participant will receive a workbook.
