With increased vehicle, foot, and bike traffic in the corridor, the City of Mission is interested in addressing traffic speed, pedestrian safety, parking operations and business access. The Road Diet Guide was produced by BikeWalkKC for the City of Mission and supported by LiveWell Johnson County.

    • LiveWell Johnson County and Olathe Parks and Recreation are partnering to encourage residents to be active through walking groups and physical activity signage in parks and sports fields in Olathe.
  • Safe Routes To Schools Case Study and Checklist
    • LiveWell Johnson County and our partners, BikeWalkKC and the Shawnee Mission School District, with the support of Safe Kids Worldwide, developed the checklist around the “Six E’s” of best practice for safe routes to school. They are: evaluation, engineering, education, enforcement, encouragement and equity.

    • LiveWell Johnson County and Shawnee Parks and Recreation are working together to encourage residents to be active in their local parks and the community center.
